As parents ourselves, we understand that choosing the right childcare setting is one of the most important decisions you will make. At Holly House, we have created a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and confident to be themselves.

One of the things that makes Holly House truly special is our wonderful garden. We believe that children need space to explore, play, and use their imaginations, and our garden provides the perfect setting for this. It is a place where children can turn a simple object into something magical, create their own games and adventures, build friendships, and explore the world through their own ideas.

Alongside our three thoughtfully designed indoor playrooms, the garden gives children the freedom to learn through play, movement, creativity, and discovery. From our wooden play equipment and traversing wall to the many opportunities for imaginative and open-ended play, every aspect of our outdoor space encourages children to be curious, confident, and independent.

We believe that every child is unique, with their own personality, interests, and individual strengths. We also believe that some of the greatest learning comes through trying, experimenting and making mistakes. Our experienced and qualified team is dedicated to recognising each child as an individual, nurturing their strengths, and providing the encouragement and support they need to flourish.

At Holly House, we see ourselves as an important first step in your child’s learning journey — a place where they can feel secure, develop at their own pace, discover who they are and, most importantly, enjoy being a child.

My oldest daughter also went to Holly House before starting school, and the staff did such a fantastic job helping all the children get ready for Reception.

They have developed so much since they started, and it is no doubt down to the staff. They come back home with new words, new ideas, new games, new jokes. Too many names to mention - Jess, Lauren, Emily, Sarah, Haady, Molly, Jessica....the list goes on! Oh, and the garden is like an oasis!

Our beautiful garden is one of the things that makes Holly House truly special. With space to run, explore, climb, and play, children are encouraged to use their imaginations and create their own games, stories and adventures. From our wooden play equipment including a boat and traversing wall to the many opportunities for open-ended play, our garden inspires curiosity, creativity, confidence, and a genuine love of being outdoors.

Freshly Prepared Meals

Our nutritious meals are freshly prepared on-site each day by our dedicated cook. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage nutrition guidance and welcome feedback and suggestions from parents, helping us provide menus that children enjoy while supporting their healthy development. Paediatric First Aid Qualified

Your child’s safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. Every member of our team holds a current Paediatric First Aid qualification, which is regularly refreshed to ensure our staff are equipped to respond confidently and appropriately should an emergency arise.
